Santa Fe Cottage is a charming log cabin style cottage ideal for a couple or small family.
Set on an established garden block with two other cottages it is a completely private fully self contained two bedroom cottage.
Relax and unwind in the cosy lounge with a closed wood burning fire, a good book and a glass of wine during winter stays or open the French doors and bathe in the sunny courtyard in summer.
Walk to everything... only 250 metres to Rye front beach and within a 5 minute walk to Rye itself and all it has to offer. Take a picnic to the beach, we even provide the picnic basket or browse the gift shops, eat in the cafes and award winning restaurants or even have a casual drink at the numerous watering holes.
Kids and pets are always welcome... Even though the cottage is cosy and ideal for couples we can easily accommodate pets with a kennel provided if you wish. There is room for the kids and they can be kept entertained with a box of toys, books, games and videos.
Relax outside and cook dinner on the barbeque, there is an outdoor setting for eating al fresco in the warmer months and enough logs to keep you cosy during winter. |

St Ives Cottage is a beautifully presented classic beachside cottage. Surrounded by magical Ti Trees this fully furnished three bedroom self contained cottage has everything that you need. Relax and unwind in the deep spa bath, light some candles and enjoy a good book with your favourite glass of wine. Then retire to the lounge in front of the open fire in winter or bathe in the sunshine in the garden during summer.
Walk to everything... Only 500 metres to Rye front beach and within a 10 minute walk of Rye itself and all it has to offer. Including gift shops, cafes, fine dining, entertainment and more.
For the kids or the pets... with polished boards throughout it is very child friendly. We hope you can keep the kids entertained with a large toy box full of games, books, videos and outside a sand pit and play equipment, and various lawn games including cricket, boule, football and badminton rackets and net. There are even buckets and spades for the kids to take to the beach. We can even accommodate family pets with new secure fencing and a kennel for your use; it’s a pets paradise too!
To complete your holiday and make it as relaxing as possible we can arrange a visit at the cottage by a therapist in massage and/or beauty treatments. Minimum night bookings

4 nights over Melbourne Cup Weekend (The weekend closest to and including the first Tuesday in November.)
3 nights over long weekends
Single night bookings are charged at 20% extra and are available throughout the year excluding Christmas/January peak period, Easter, long weekends and weekends in mid season.
Check in time is from 2:00pm (1400 hours)
Check out time is 10:00 am (1000 hours)
Children
Children are welcome. Requests for portacots and highchairs need to be made prior to arrival and if available will not incur any additional fee.
Pets
Blue Moon Cottages will accept pets only by prior arrangement after discussion with the owners.
Blue Moon Cottages Terms and Conditions of booking
Smoking
Blue Moon Cottages is strictly NO SMOKING. Guests found smoking will be asked to leave.
Deposits and Full Payments
Booking more than one week in advance of your stay requires a 50% deposit. Booking within one week of your intended stay requires full payment. Booking online at www.bluemooncottages.com.au requires immediate payment by credit card. If you wish to make a payment by cheque, direct bank deposit or money order please telephone 61 (0) 9593 3351or email info@bluemooncottages.com.au to make the booking. Full payment is due 7 days prior to arrival date. Payment constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation if caused by the client, 50% of the total money paid is not refundable unless the house is re-let for the entire period. If a refund is made due to the property being relet then a $50 cancellation fee will apply. Cancellation within 7 days of the arrival date will result in the loss of 100% of the deposit.
Conditions of use
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
- Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

We ask that you inform us of any Day guests. No more than six day guests may visit at any one time. Day guests are allowed to visit during the hours of 9am – 9pm. You are responsible for their behavior at all times.
- Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.
- Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
- Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10am by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests, unless another time is agreed between the parties.
- Pets are only allowed where specific arrangements have been made prior to arrival. Tenants are fully responsible for the comfort of their pets (i.e. bedding, food & bowls) and the cleaning of all messes. We ask that pets be outside most of the day but allow them to sleep inside at night. Pets must not go on any furniture or the bedding.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise (which includes loud music, raised voices, car engines and foul language), is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond. Please consider neighbouring cottages especially after 10pm.
- Two cars only are allowed per property and parking is permitted only in allocated parking bays. Please do not park on the grass.
- Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.
