Cannobie Country House & Vineyard is a tranquil farm retreat located at Rutherglen in Northern Victoria, one of Australia's premier wine producing areas. Cannobie Country House is only 3 hours drive north of Melbourne. Visit the local wineries, picnic and explore the Murray River and surrounding historic towns or join in the daily farm activities. Cannobie is Rutherglens only true Bed and Breakfast in a vineyard and still only minutes to town , Restaurants and Wineries

Accommodation :
two double rooms, one triple room with en-suite and private bathrooms for our other rooms
each room has period furniture and fresh white bed linen
features veranda and a beautiful garden setting for relaxing outdoors and a large fireplace in the lounge for the cooler months
rise each morning to a breakfast of fruit, eggs, toast and delicious home made jam
gourmet dinners by arrangement

close by are wineries, canoeing, bushwalking, historic towns from the fabulous gold rush era and the mighty Murray River
enjoy the fine cuisine at restaurants in Beechworth and Rutherglen or visit the nearby city of Albury-Wodonga on the NSW- VICTORIAN border

Activities

observe the sheep and chickens and join in the day to day farm activities
ride around the area on one of the farm bicycles or drive to the local wineries or browse the shops of the nearby historic towns and border region
explore Lake Moodemere on the MV Lynne Marie and view the bird and aquatic life, or just relax with a book on the veranda or in the garden

Other Attractions

see kangaroos, echidnas and other native species at Chiltern National Park, hand feed the long necked tortoises at Lake King or enjoy the magic and romance of hot air ballooning. Make the Rutherglen area a regular getaway as wine festivals and market days are regular events throughout the year
