Set amongst lush tropical gardens, Mission Beach Tropical Escape B&B adds a touch of luxury to the joys of bed and breakfast holiday accommodation in the tropics.
The 1.5 acre property rests up against rainforest and the pristine sand of Mission Beach is only a short stroll away.
At Tropical Escape you can idle the hours away relaxing by our freshwater pool, play a game or two of 8 ball or venture out to enjoy the beach, local attractions and activities.
Mission Beach is alive with a seemingly endless supply of tours and activities. Whether it be a snorkelling/diving trip to the Great Barrier Reef, a walk in the rainforest or day trip to magical Dunk Island to name just a few, your friendly hosts Noel and Dot would be delighted to assist you plan what to do and see in Mission Beach.

The Tropical Escape bed and breakfast accommodation house in Mission Beach has been designed for both privacy and entertainment in mind. Large open plan living and entertainment areas will make you feel like you are in a resort . . . . but the friendly hospitality is most certainly B&B.

Meals
A full breakfast is included in tariff consisting of cereal, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt as well as bacon, eggs etc. Local home made jams and marmalade, tea, coffee and fruit juice. Late risers catered for!
You may have your breakfast in the dining room, alfresco by the pool or privately outside your room.

Mission Beach is approx 2 hours drive from both northern Queensland cities of Cairns and Townsville. To get to Tropical Escape Bed and Breakfast . . .
From Cairns
Travel south along the Bruce Highway, you will pass through Innisfail. Approx. 20 minutes after Innisfail take turn off to Mission Beach on the left at El Arish. 10 minutes later after driving through rainforest you will pass small industrial area including a hardware store. Turn right at the sign to Wongaling Beach, Cassowary Drive. Travel along this road for 4 kms until shopping centre. Turn left into Wongaling Beach Road, then left again at first street on left (Coolabah Street). Travel down and turn left at second street on left (Spurwood Close). Tropical Escape is first house on right.
From Townsville
Travel north along the Bruce Highway to Tully. 3 km after Tully turn right at the Mission Beach turn off. Travel along until shopping centre. Turn right into Wongaling Beach Road, then left again at first street on left (Coolabah Street). Travel down and turn left at second street on left (Spurwood Close). Tropical Escape is first house on right.
Transport to Tropical Escape
If you are flying into Cairns you have a variety of choices which include the Mission Beach Connections courtesy coach (does not connect to late flights).
McCaffertys and Greyhound buses also travel into Mission Beach from both Cairns and Townsville. Once your Tropical Escape accommodation has been booked we would be happy to assist in organising transfers for you.
