Piermont Retreat is 3 km south of Swansea at Great Oyster Bay on the beautiful east coast of Tasmania. On 20 hectares of serene beach frontage six snug cottages overlook the Freycinet National Park providing guests with a special feeling in a special place in a setting of great natural beauty.  

Accommodation :

 Self contained accommodation in 6 cottages ( 2 two bedroom and 4 one bedroom) with walls of local stone almost half a metre thick. 

The cottages are unique with Mediterranean, Irish and Tasmanian design influences using local timbers and roofs of Kashmiri slate. 

Each cottage has been built biosustainably with quality fittings and wood fires. 

Each with a neutral magnetic field to guarantee restful sleep, the well spring for the feeling of personal renewal that guests say is our signature. 

We also have a solar heated pool and floodlit tennis courts 

 Cottage amenities include full kitchens, bathrooms (some with spas), dining areas, lounge, TV, open or slow combustion fires, BBQ and full breakfast provisions.

   Location

 Piermont Retreat is 3 km south of Swansea on the east coast of Tasmania on Great Oyster Bay opposite the Freycinet Peninsula.  We are only 1½ hours from Launceston and less than 2 hours from Hobart

 Nearby Freycinet National Park is on the ruggedly beautiful Freycinet Peninsula.  Granite mountains are surrounded by azure seas and magnificent sandy beaches.  Walk along the beaches, swim at unspoilt beaches or try bushwalking to see Wineglass Bay.
