We invite you to enjoy luxury Bed and Breakfast accommodation at Radfield House, one of Blenheim's more gracious properties which is listed with the Historic Places Trust. It is the perfect setting for a weekend break in Blenheim, honeymoon or stay longer and enjoy all that this amazing region has to offer.
Radfield House was built in Blenheim in 1925 and over the years it has been extensively refurbished, but it still retains all its original grace and grandeur.
Although less than five minutes from town, Radfield House enjoys quiet seclusion and privacy. The large garden provides a constant supply of flowers for the guest bedrooms, also fruit, vegetables and herbs, and is an ideal spot to enjoy an alfresco breakfast in the sunny courtyard. Picnic lunches and evening meals are also available on request.
After a long day taking in the sights of Blenheim, or sampling wine at the vineyards, guests can relax in their own lounge or soak in the large spa bath. We also have free tea, coffee and juice available at all times. In winter, at our B & B, we have an open fire in the guests dining room.
Our main aim is to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Come and relax at Blenheim's Radfield House B & B, and let us look after you.
Although we do allow children at our Bed and Breakfast accommodation, we would like to offer a quiet relaxing stay for our visitors. So if you would like to bring your family to Radfield House please call us to discuss arrangements.
Courtesy Transfers
If requested we can provide guests with courtesy transfers to/from the Picton ferry terminals or the two local airports.
Travelling on the ferry as foot passengers can save you over $300. Let us meet you at the ferry terminal and then, if arranged prior to your visit, we can provide you with one of our own vehicles (free use of one of our vehicles – certain conditions apply), so you can explore the Blenheim and Marlborough region.
We look forward to meeting you.

BeeJay, a Radfield House resident |
We bought Radfield House after spotting it for sale on a real estate website. At the time we were living in the Bay of Plenty. After a quick visit to Marlborough we fell in love with the house and surrounding area.
Bill is an environmental engineer who is keen on cycling, windsurfing, walking and music. He is learning to play the saxophone but promises to be quiet when there are guests in the house.
Jayne is a PA who enjoys walking, reading, cross stitch and gardening. She has lived in various countries around the world (Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Belgium) and speaks French.
This cross stitch can be viewed on display in the house, it took Jayne a year to make, at approximately 3 hours per night!
We have an extensive range of music that guests are welcome to listen to and we are sure there is something in our collection to suite most peoples tastes.
We welcome visitors from all over the world and of course from New Zealand. We are sure that you will find your stay with us in this wonderful historic home not only peaceful and comfortable, but that you will also receive value for money with our quality and service.
Should you require an evening meal we are able to provide one at reasonable cost, provided we are given 24 hours notice or notice at the time of booking. Bill and Jayne will be joining you at the table. During summer months we can provide a BBQ (weather allowing) meal. |
