More than a bed and breakfast, Truemans Cottages are a summer family resort or a cosy winter retreat, making it the ideal weekend getaway or holiday destination. Situated midway between the popular Mornington Peninsula townships of Rosebud and Rye, Truemans Cottages are also conveniently located close to surf and bay beaches, world class golf courses, restaurants, cafes, superb wineries and craft markets.

The main cottage, fitted with new appliances and comfortable furniture, has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and large common areas 
The rear was extended to include a large eating area and the master bedroom and en suite 
The kitchen is stocked with gourmet breakfast items by arrangement 
There is also a large private yard including barbecue and outdoor facilities 
A wide range of relaxing reading material, CD's and Video Movies are available for guests enjoyment 
For your relaxation the cottage is equipped with board games, beach equipment including umbrella, buckets and spades.  And for getting around there are bikes and helmets for guests exclusive use

Location

Truemans Cottages are in Truemans Rd, Tootgarook, off the Nepean Hwy between Rosebud and Rye on the Mornington Peninsula 90 minutes by road from Melbourne, Victoria 
Truemans Cottages are a five-minute walk from the beach at Tootgarook. At the other end of Truemans Road is Gunnamatta surf beach 
The Mornington Peninsula has for many years been a favourite holiday destination for Victorians for short breaks and summer vacations. Restaurants, golf courses, art and craft markets and all sorts of water sports and activities are at Truemans Cottages doorstep

Rates

The off season rate is $730 a week rising to $1495 between 24/12 & the end of January 
The Weekend charge is $165 per double (additional adult $48 a night,$22 children 3 to 15 yrs) 
Single nights by arrangement 

Activities

Relax at the beaches nearby or take one of the many scenic coastal and rural drives around the Mornington Peninsula 
Visit Arthurs Seat with its commanding views of Port Phillip Bay and spend some time at the local craft markets 
Get lost at Ashcombe Maze and the Arthurs Seat Maze 
Play golf at Flinders, the National at Cape Schanck or one of the Peninsula's other fine golf courses 
Visit some of the 35 wineries of the Mornington Peninsula Vignerons Association, many of which have cellar doors open daily

Kaye and Richard also operate the three bedroom Cottage at Tootgarook across the road. It is also available for rent during busy times
