Undine Colonial Accommodation is in Hobart, Tasmania, an island state located just to the south of mainland Australia. "Undine" is situated on the original coaching road leading to the north from Hobart Town. Established as a coaching inn before Queen Victoria came to the throne, "Undine" has a history of providing the weary traveller with the very best in colonial comfort and refreshment. The old is discreetly supported by the new with careful renovations and furnishings to reflect a bygone era.

Location

From Hobart take the Brooker Highway (A1) north for 10 minutes and turn left into Dodson Street. If coming form the West Coast or Launceston drive 9.5 km towards Hobart from the Bridgewater Bridge and Undine is on your right in Dodson Street.

Activities

Centrally located to all the major attractions of Hobart the capital city of Tasmania.

If sport is your interest we are close to the Claremont Golf Course, the Elwick Race Course and the Royal Hobart Showgrounds whilst just down the road is the Derwent Entertainment Centre and mini golf course.

For wine and food lovers close by are numerous fine restaurants and the Moorilla Estate Vineyards and Museum of Antiquities.

A heated salt water swimming pool provides year round relaxation. Heated to 31º, available 7 - 7:30am and 5:30 - 6:30pm daily, other times by arangement. It's indoor and private. Alternatively, lay back in the huge spa while your whole body enjoys a water massage.

Enjoy a 'cuppa' in the guests' lounge with home baked treats. Relax in the old fashioned gardens or take a five minute stroll to the banks of the beautiful Derwent River.

A visit to the nearby Cadbury Chocolate Factory tempts many.
