"Waratah Brighton" Bed & Breakfast is a gracious period home in the heart of trendy Bayside Brighton

Waratah Brighton is a gracious relaxed period home build original in 1880 as a small cottage house amidst a large garden on Brighton Hill, known as the highest point in Brighton, to supply Melbourne with food and vegies in bygone times.

Even today Waratah Brighton B & B is set on a beautiful large allotment, with tranquil private garden with three outdoor sitting and relaxing areas. The garden features a large swimming pool and a Hydro Spa house for maximum 6 people.

Waratah Brighton is a single story home.

Waratah Brighton has a spacious formal guest sitting room with a large dinning table with gas log fire place, high ceilings, chandeliers, decorated with a European flair, a mixture of modern and antiques furniture with decorative original artwork. The setting is elegant and relaxed.

For the book worm there are a few hundred books, of various interests, to choose from the library to read.

There is also an informal sitting room with open fire place, leather lounges and Foxtel TV and direct excess to a sun shaded outdoor BBQ and entertainment area.

The centre of Waratah Brighton B & B is the open style kitchen where you can have a conversation with the hosts.

Here we will also serve a quick informal breakfast for the business or co-operate guests who are on a tight schedule.

Traditional Bed & Breakfast

Luxurious single bed room with ducted heating, LCD-TV, DVD with en-suite private bathroom, shower and toilet.

Luxurious contemporary double room with queen-size bed, with ducted heating and reverse-cycle air-conditioning, large LCD-TV with DVD, CD player with radio, en-suite bathroom with full bath, shower, toilet. Sliding door to own private small courtyard.

Two further luxurious double bed rooms, each with queen-size-bed, with reverse cycle air-conditioning, large LCD-TV with DVD, CD player with radio, apartment style, one shared bathroom with double vanity and shower, separate toilet.

Both rooms have sliding doors to outside paved entertainment area.

There is access to a separate butler's type kitchen with coffee & teas facilities and mini bar fridge. 

Breakfast Details:

Included is a cooked breakfast of your choice, fresh cut fruit platter, Bircher muesli, home made compote, gourmet jams, orange juice, teas and freshly brewed coffee.

For early risers we offer an informal breakfast in the Kitchen area.

10 % deposit required with booking, with the balance to be paid at check in.
Full refund if 7 days notice or more is given
