Windmill Hill Tourist Lodge (Circa 1878),  has been an accommodation house since 1939. This lovely heritage property has been refurbished to a high standard of comfort, with all ensuite facilities and some rooms with kitchenettes. A full breakfast is served in an elegant dining room.

 Heritage style accommodation in four ensuite rooms tastefully decorated and complete with queen size beds. 

 Four self contained suites with kitchenettes including one with 2 bedrooms also in the heritage style. 

All suites have TV, heating, electric blankets for the winter months and tea and coffee making facilities. 

A laundry and laundry facilities are available for the convenience of our guests. 

Enjoy the elegant comforts and ambience of yesteryear with a full breakfast in our formal dining room.

  Activities

 A stay in Launceston is not complete without a visit to the Cataract Gorge with its wonderful walks and gardens. 
 A tour down through the vineyards of the Tamar Valley and on to the Pilot Station at Low Head established in 1805 provides hours of relaxing entertainment. 
 Launceston has many historic buildings in and around the city.  Franklin House (circa 1838) in Launceston, Entally House (circa 1819) at Hadspen 17 km from Launceston and Clarendon House at Evandale near the airport are popular tourist destinations.  
Take a cruise on the Tamar River or picnic at one of the many riverfront parkland areas.
